Ted Rall has been an editorial cartoonist for the LA Times as well as an essayist. The LA Times recently went to war with the journalist on behalf of the LAPD and it's officers who dislike Rall's strong anti-police brutality stance, publishing a dubious audio recording of a Jaywalking arrest Rall endured, which procured from a secret source within LAPD.
