Here is where I start to get mad. They abused 76 year old retired Ph.D. Nurse Practitioner Rosemary Brackett. Her son Anthony is autistic and has many health issues. She takes care of him full time, and his conditions require such. Homestead officers Alejandro Murguido, Veronica Blanco, and Brian Kennedy (retired) falsely arrested Dr. Brackett for DUI. They pulled her son Anthony out of the car at gun point, and struck him in the back of the leg with a baton. This put her into shock. Then they had to make up a story for why they pulled her over and abused them. She claims to have blown twice at the station, registering 0.00. She immigrated from Wales in 1969, and has never received a ticket other than this one. They claimed at the station to be taking her at the hospital for a blood draw. They actually took her to jail where she was kept for four days. They left the jail with her son Anthony, and drove a little bit them dumped him off with no ID, money, or phone. Thankfully the manager of a restaurant realized something was up and arranged safe transportation home for him. Luckily a close neighbor was able to help Anthony while he was alone for four days. Anthony was sacred because the police told him they had taken his mother to the hospital, and no hospital in the county had a record of her. This is a really sad story, and there are many more twist and turns. We are helping her, and I have secured her the services of Felipe Hemming the best PI for this type of work to dig up more than I could get, as well as an attorney. I will update this story when we get some breaks.
